Wood Bench made in collaboration with Dan Cavicchi for donation to Hampton National Historic Site Friends Group. Made from Pecan wood from the Site for use in the Witness Tree Project which we co-teach at Rhode Island School of Design.
Laser cut lettering in top is text from a run away slave annoucement in the Baltimore Sun Newspaper from the mid 1800's. Bleached pecan, Pecan. Lacquer finish.
